This yellow golden ring has been set, using a advanced laser technique, with a black jade ring; this special variety of jade has been cut into a completely jade- dome ring by a Swiss artist and gemcutter. The origin of the gemstone is China. Jade has a very high shock resistance and can hence be easily worn , without damage danger, on a daily basis.
This entirely unique and handmade Double Dome ring, created by Katherine Berquin, a Belgian goldsmith, jewellery artist and gemmologist, consists of 18 kt yellow gold and black jade. It has been made in her own atelier in Brussels in an artisanal way and according to the rules of the classical goldsmith's art. This ring has the typical pure and refined contemporary style of the creator, where she uses, an exceptional gemstone setting.
